Finally, the END is near.

One more week of classes! I can't wait.

I have been EXtremely busy. I feel so drained. ugh.

But it's almost over.

This week is the RZ competition.

I helped the husband set up on Saturday, and judging was today from 9-11.
We find out who wins at 3. I am so nervous for my husband.
I wish, wish WISH that he was one of the winners.
(SIGH) my heart is a-flutter.

Something I have been working on:

So yesterday was a beautiful sunshiney day, and the husband and I decided to take our dogs to Ferne Cliff State Park, and hiked.

Well, here we are climbing rocks, and here I am trying to grasp a tree branch before I slip to my death. I grab hold and with my back facing the ledge, I try to get down off the rock I am standing on...

...CRACK...

Part of the tree branch, that I am holding, breaks and the other half whams me right in the left eye.

I cried so hard! It hurst so bad, as if someone punched me really hard in the eyeball.
No my eye is swollen and blueish, and people will probably think I got into a fight. Hah!

I woke up with my eyeball throbbing. I'm lucky my contact lens didn't break.
I am also lucky to still see at all, but it is very blurry.

Well hope you have a happy Monday. Toodles.

Going to the Masters and Tiger Woods.

So the hubby and I went to Augusta, Georgia with his mom and step-dad.

It was a wonderful FAST trip.
The ride down was beautiful especially through the mountains in Chattanooga, TN.
Took us about 7 1/2 hours.
We stopped in Covington to spend the night Sunday, and had breakfast at the Waffle House.

The golf course was breathtaking BEAUTIFUL. I don't think I have ever seen such a pretty place. The flowers were in bloom and the grass was pristine. What was even more beautiful were the Wisteria flowers that twined up the trees. Though it was overcast until the we left at 3:30, it was good weather. At least we didn't burn in the heat of the sun.

I never knew so many people were into golf! Now I'm really excited about it.

The golf course was 300 acres, set within the city of Augusta. The city was built around the course. When you are outside, you never would have thought the inside was so lush and exotic! But once you're in, you wouldn't think you were in the middle of a city.

The price of food was not bad at all.. but the gift shop! O MY!
Now that's where they make the money. People go NUTS in there! It was like a Golf Mosh Pit (if such a thing were to exist)

There were so many people. The lines for the bathrooms were EXTRA long for the.... MEN!
YES! the MEN! I went right on in to use the restroom, no waiting!

Well, I guess I shall post some pictures of our 2 day trip.
We got home about 2:00 am. Boy was I wore out!

Hope to go again next year!

Oh yeah, I got to see TIGER WOODS. It was awesome. To hear about his talents, and then to see it happen right in front of me! That was so magical almost! There were so many people who followed him, it was crazy I even got as close as I did.

It's scary when someone's body is found on campus.

So yesterday's news at SIUC was someone found a body in the woods.
He was an international graduate student from China.
It is sad that his family is half way around the world.
I guess investigations are still going on.

So.. sorry that I started the blog off with a sad story.

I have been SO-o busy.

I did not get to bed until 3 am. YIKES.

I love fabrics.

Tonight is my Stamp Camp. We will be making 3 sets of cards, 2 tissue boxes, 2 domino pins!

Hope you all have a good Thursday.

Toodles.

(chorus)

This song was sung yesterday night by a good friend.
It has inspired me to really show my praise.

Well.. I feel so unproductive lately.
I can't sleep.
As much as I want to, I can't fall asleep.

UGH.

It's dreary out. I am tired, and I don't want to go to class.
But I'm here, so I shall.

A picture to lighten someone's day!

She is just too sweet. I miss her little chubby cheeks.

Passing With Flying Colors

So Jason passed his BFA review. YAY!

Nevaeh is so CUTE. She loves taking baths.
And she does not cry when you wash her hair.

There is such beauty in even the roughest of nature.
Spring is so in the air.
The trees are budding, the lillies are coming up, nad the dandelions are roaring!

Self-promotion.
What I am currently working on.
How can I promote myself without seeming too off the wall or safe?

Well. Toodles blog world while I go ponder on how to promote myself.

Wacky Wednesday.

So it started off cool, then warm, and then it rained.
I have felt sleepy all day long. UGH.

The hubby had to set up for his BFA review.

Just wanted to post a picture of my parents.
You've gotta love the photo booth pictures.
So classic.

It will be 4 years this May since my dad has gone to Heaven.
I miss him so much sometimes, my heart aches.

So my sister tells me the other day that my niece Nevaeh has teeth!
It will be so weird to see her with teeth.

She has also finally moved from the army crawl to actually crawling!
But she is getting into everything now. teehee.

Well.. toodles!

Easter, A Blessed Day.

I hope everyone had a blessed Easter day.

After the church choir cantata, I lost my voice for awhile... and could not bend my knees. haha.

Then lunch at my bro-in-laws... and the great Easter Egg Hunt.
With all the eggs we hid... it was like the whole neighborhood was coming!
BUT it was only for 7 people.

My husband hiding eggs:

Rain Rain Go Away, Come Again Another Day.

It has been raining non-stop for the last day and a half!
UGH.

The roads are HORRIBLE.
All the patched up potholes are now CRATERS.

The water levels are like up to my neck.
And the dogs are tired of the rain.

Today has let up a little, but it still sucks.

I need my vitamin d... so Mr Sun, won't you come out and play?

My favorite fabric right now:

can't wait to get some more!

Well hope you have a GR8 day.

A Purse for ME.

It's so cute I want to eat it. :)

Love Is Like A SeeSaw.

Why the title? Because it's true.
You've got your UPs and you've got your DOWNs....
BUT
If you sit in the MIDDLE together, it's even!
I just finished my favorite Korean Drama - Bad Love (or Cruel Love)
I cried like a baby. It was a good drama. I liked it.

So.. once again a HUGE snow storm.. and then today it's all melting! Crazy weather.

Go plant a snowman if you've got snow.

Clover was enjoying the snow. She looks kind of mean in this one. haha.
Like a snow leapord.

Just a couple cards I made with my new stamps!

Today is ICE cold rain and slippery as heck.

Well, I forgot to mention, the husband got accepted into the Rickert-Ziebold contest.
Click Here to view the news.

Woohoo! I hope he wins.

Anywho. It was like a winter wonderland here a couple weeks back.

Frozen berries. yum.

Everything broke so easily... and it became dangerous when things were melting.

Late Night Purse Sewing.

I have so much fabric I don't know what to do with it.
But it's all so pretty.. I don't want to use it.. ever get that feeling? :)

Well I made this purse for my sister Choua.

I like it so well, I wish I had made 2. (dang it)

And just a random picture of some buttons.

Good night blog world.
